Jasper is a stone of gentleness and relaxation. It enhances one's ability to relax and brings tranquility, comforting, wholeness, healing, and gentle endings. It is sometimes called the nurturing stone for its nurturing and protective energies. The name jasper derived from the Greek word jaspis.  In ancient writings the term jasper was chiefly applied to translucent and brightly colored stones. Jasper is a cryptocrystalline variety of the mineral Quartz (SiO2).

These gems are of the baroque style. Each stone is unique. The "Baroque" stone is a natural shaped stone, highly polished.
